The record sleeve show

The record sleeve show, Moderate Studio journal, 2024

A group show of record sleeves at Station South, printers and labels together, framed up the stairwell on the brick and terracotta walls. My sleeves are in among them, ones I printed years ago while I was at One69A, hung next to everybody else’s, a whole staircase of screen-printed covers.

A show like this is a good reminder that the record sleeve is where a lot of print and music people first meet. Seeing my old One69A covers framed and up on a wall, in a converted railway station, alongside a room full of other printers, is a nice way for that early work to come back round.
