Then the printing. The three images run again and again in different colourways, the halftone dots opened right up so the faces break into pattern when you stand close. Test sheets stacked on every surface, some clean, some deliberately off.
One of them, Saint with Flowers, went onto fabric, composited over a check pattern for the curtains at the show. Print on paper, print on cloth, the same face coming back in tartan.
Weeks of this before the walls were ready.
