A DJ for company events across the Peak District, Cheshire and Manchester: parties, awards nights, launches and long dinners that need to become a dance floor. I bring the sound, the microphones and the lighting, set up before your guests arrive, and read the room from background to peak.

Company parties, awards and launches
Summer and Christmas parties, awards nights, product launches, conference after-parties and brand events. The brief is usually the same: keep it easy while people arrive and talk, lift it for the speeches or the awards, then open the floor for the rest of the night.
What matters
Turns up, sets up, works
For an event with a running order, the sound has to be dependable. I arrive early, set up and test before doors, and keep to the schedule on the night. The volume sits where it should: low enough to talk over through dinner, up when the floor opens. Microphones for the welcome, the speeches and the awards are part of it.
The music is disco, soul, funk and house at the core, played to the room rather than from a fixed list. Send a brief and any must-plays, and I build around them.
The kit
Sound for the whole room
I bring a PA scaled to the space, microphones for announcements and speeches, and lighting for the floor. For an outdoor or marquee event I can bring a sound system, including one that runs on solar with no mains. I carry public liability insurance and all my equipment is PAT tested, which is usually what a venue or a shopping centre wants to see.

I work to your running order and your budget, and invoice properly. I am based in Buxton and cover the Peak District, Derbyshire, Cheshire and Greater Manchester, and travel further by arrangement. When you are ready, here is how to book.

Yes. You get a proper invoice. I work to your budget and running order.
