How much am I worth?


When I bought these scratchcards in 2012, the full set cost me £27 (two are stuck to the back of the artwork as they didn't fit on the front). The total potential prize amount is £3,579,000, and these are unscratched scratchcards. So, what's the artwork worth? £27? £3 million? Somewhere in between? That was the question in 2012. Now, the scratchcards are out of date and can't be cashed in. What is the artwork worth now? Will they ever be scratched?


I created this piece in response to seeing cartoon characters, children's games, and the Olympics being used to promote gambling. How ludicrous it is to be encouraging an addiction to the youth of the country. Gambling breaks so many people, and I believe it should be regarded on the same level as smoking.


So, how much is the artwork worth?
